Vinta Beach Resort
My friends and I decided to have a get together before the year ends at one of the beaches here in Davao City. It was quite fun to have been with these people again after 6 months of studying for the exams. The trip started when we were at Sta. Ana Wharf as we got on one of the boats going to the islands. It was about an hour ride until you get to Sta. Cruz – the area where the beach is located.

Typhoon Pepeng
Just now from PAGASA thru ABS-CBN, Typhoon Pepeng has been reported to have wind speeds of 130-160 kilometer per hour. PAGASA also reports that Typhoon Pepeng is a lot more stronger the Typhoon Ondoy in terms of wind speed but PAGASA fails to report the amount of rainfall it carries due to lack of equipment.

Typhoon Ondoy Relief Operation at ABS-CBN Davao
We had a very fun activity today as we went to ABS-CBN Davao station at Shrine Hills Matina. We were able to join a lot of volunteers from different organizations and schools in repacking of donated clothes. There were a whole lot of them! Sad say but there are some donated clothes that couldn’t be used thus the need for sorting and repacking. Read more about the article and view our photos after the jump!
