Stuff I Don’t Want to Get This Christmas 2009

You may say that I’m picky with the things I receive. Well, its not being picky but I’d rather appreciate it to receive something that can be of good use to me. But I’m not rejecting any gifts that I’d receive. I only receive a few gifts each year from people so why throw them away right? I keep them.4.) Game Cards

Game cards are nice but are quite impractical to give for Christmas. They don’t last long as it is consumed immediately. Hoping that something could last longer than this would be fine. I’m happy to receive this but is there something else rather this one? I remember in December 2007, someone gave me this for Christmas. It was the time when game time was still so expensive. A 100 peso card lasts only for a week.

3.) Picture Frame

Picture frames are nice when properly displayed. The problem we are experiencing here at home is where to place it. We have quite a lot of stuff on display here now and picture frames are just quite a hustle to have at the current moment. You can give me the picture you’re placing in the frame instead.

2.) Slippers

Its not like I don’t have slippers of my own. Well, I’m not really the type of person who likes to go out wearing slippers and I’m not comfortable wearing such things outside the home. It is quite of the unnecessary item for me to receive this Christmas.

Thanks to dad for my current slippers. They are quite comfortable.

1.) Mug

The mug! It is a undying legacy of mug giving every year! We have lots of mugs. Not only mugs but drinking glasses and tumblers too. We are already having problems on where we would be storing such things since we have a lot of drinking utensils here at home. So it is really not a need. Well, I think I’d want to receive a mug if it bears any value in helping out organizations that help people or if its a really unique one. No weird stuff please!

What I want for Christmas and in the New Year.

What I really want every Christmas and in the New Year is that for people to greet me and remember me during the holiday season since we are all busy celebrating at least when someone remembers you in their most busiest time, it makes me say “Thank God! I got noticed (FINALLY)! Thank you! ” Especially on January 1 since it is my birthday. ^^,
