How To Watch Pacquiao vs. Hatton Live!

How To Watch Pacquiao vs. Hatton Live!

If you don’t have tickets and want to keep a head start on the news on who wins the fight then watching the fight live via internet streaming is for you! There are two options available and I’ll talk about them after the jump.

Option #1: On the day of the fight, Biliran Island Video will be setting up a streaming video for the fight. According to the website, he is using windows media technology, so you’re going to need to download microsoft media player, as well as Microsoft Silverlight. The said website also said that it would be streaming at 320 X 240 resolution which is comparable to that of youtube, so your Internet connection needs broadband speed.

Option #2: Another way to watch the game is to download Sopcast and TVU. Both of these are free Peer to Peer or P2P software used to watch live TV. Some channels are of semi-permanent to fly by night once-event channels, so the hardest part is finding channel that has a decent bandwidth to spare.

*Sopcast has worked fine twice in a row for both the Pacquaio vs Marquez fight and the Pacman versus De La Hoya fight. Usually, real actual channels will only go live and be viewable on actual few hours before the fight.

You can download the free softwares here: Sopcast and TVU.

Boxing pay per views. Both normal boxing and pay per view boxing can be watched on sopcast. First check the numerous boxing forums and they should give you a specific sopcast channel. Simply enter that channel in the player and you should be able to watch the boxing event live. The quality usually is not that good with this player.
